EVENTS: 2011

2011 Ikeda Forum for Intercultural Dialogue

Last year's Ikeda Forum, the eighth annual, addressed the topic: "Cultivating the Greater Self." Building on the roots of the "greater self" as a Buddhist concept, we explored its personal, social, spiritual, civic, and cross-cultural implications for contemporary society. This year's Forum took place on Saturday, October 22, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The featured speakers were Virginia Benson, Ann Diller, Bernice Lerner, and Lou Marinoff.
