What: Public Dialogue Celebrating the Publication of Into Full Flower
When: Saturday, March 6, 3:00 - 5:00 p.m.
- The first Ikeda Center event for 2010 will be a public dialogue event celebrating the release of our upcoming publication, Into Full Flower: Making Peace Cultures Happen, a dialogue between Elise Boulding and Daisaku Ikeda. (Event details here)
- Mary Lee Morrison, Virginia Benson, and Russell Boulding will be the panelists for the event. Through presentation and discussion, they will explore the ideas and lives of Boulding and Ikeda, drawing lessons for how we all might contribute to the creation of peace cultures.

The Ikeda Center held two events last fall exploring aspects of the 2009 theme, "Humanizing Our Lives, Humanizing Our World." We had a diverse group of exciting thinkers on hand to participate in our investigation.

Called John Dewey, Daisaku Ikeda, and the Quest for a New Humanism, the event featured a dynamic mix of scholars, including Steven Rockefeller, Jim Garrison, Charlene Haddock-Seigfried, David Hansen, Larry Hickman, and Nel Noddings.
