Becca Faber

Program Intern

Becca Faber is the Ikeda Center’s 2026 Summer Program Intern. This summer, she will support the promotion and execution of the Center’s events, including the upcoming Global Citizens Seminar and Dialogue Nights and Dialogue Nights Lite series. She is a rising junior at Harvard College, where she studies Government, Economics, and Japanese. She is also a head delegate of Harvard’s Intercollegiate Model United Nations team. She enjoys thrifting and sewing, and is excited to connect meaningfully with others through this Summer’s events.

Becca connects with this quote from Daisaku Ikeda’s Preface to Peace, Justice, and the Poetic Mind: Conversations on the Path of Nonviolence because she believes it highlights the importance of the Center’s mission of peace through dialogue in today’s world.

As our society faces serious crises, it has become clearer that ordinary people must take the initiative to change its course. For a nation to undergo successful post-conflict recovery and reconstruction, it becomes essential to empower individuals at the local level and help them develop their inner strengths.
